The future of economic relations between Europe and Iran depends on the credibility of commitment from both sides.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The COVID-19 pandemic and the related travel restrictions have made traditional conferences impractical. However, the move to an innovative digital platform will enable the Business Forum to reach a wider range of companies in Europe and Iran than ever before. The platform allows full access from computer (webdesk) smartphone and tablet, through dedicated app. Its users friendly interface makes access to contents and interactions simple and intuitive, maximizing participants\u2019 experience and take a way.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Goals:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>To promote open and frank dialogue to help build mutual trust and understanding between stakeholders in Europe and Iran.<\/li>\n<li>To support and develop trade and economic relations among European and Iranian stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>To help business leaders and policymakers improve their day-to-day operations and rethink their strategies.<\/li>\n<li>To foster new connections between European and Iranian executives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Themes and plans:<\/p>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Provide training modules in order to exchange ideas and expertise<\/li>\n<li>Provide social dialogue opportunity<\/li>\n<li>Take lessons from the recent challenges and how to use it in the future.<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to cope with potential business counterparts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a platform for policymakers to detail their efforts to support bilateral trade and investment in creative ways, such as through outreach to small and medium enterprises.<\/li>\n<li>Find a response to the recent disruptions in trade due to COVID-19 crisis.<\/li>\n<li>How to find a long-term strategy for the Iranian economy, such as through the articulation of a new National Export Strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0This understanding will help make economic relations between Europe and Iran more resilient to future shocks while also ensuring bilateral trade and investment reaches new highs when circumstances improve.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Agenda:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><u>Before the conference (1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0December)<\/u>: in order to maximize the results of then conference, several activities are scheduled to run two weeks before and after the onlice conference programme.
