However, there are some ground rules and requirements need to be taken in consideration.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain a Commercial Card in Iran, the investors, business owners and companies\u2019 CEO shall become a member of <strong>Iran\u2019s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture<\/strong>, briefly as ICC. After the issuance of the Membership Card of the ICC, the investor (natural or legal person) can request for issuance of the Commercial Card.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The necessary documents for issuing the Commercial Card for natural persons and legal entities are not exactly the same. Accordingly, and regarding this fact that issuing a Commercial Card for legal persons shall be done by the CEO, we mention the required documents as below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The original certificate of Conviction History of the applicant (natural persons\/CEO),<\/li>\n<li>Original Identification Card and 2 photos of the applicant,<\/li>\n<li>The original copy of a valid educational qualification (at least a high school diploma is required.),<\/li>\n<li>The original copy of the Military Service Completion Card for male applicants,<\/li>\n<li>The original certificate of Seal of Accounts from the Companies Registration Office,<\/li>\n<li>The original copy of the statement regarding registration in the commercial office, which has been confirmed by the Companies Registration Office,<\/li>\n<li>Company\u2019s Notice of Establishment in Official Gazette,<\/li>\n<li>Economic Code for natural persons, and new Economic Code for the companies,<\/li>\n<li>A special letter of commitment, signed by the applicant, by which natural and legal persons must undertake to act based on the relevant terms and conditions, and this form is considered as a certificate and undertaking against money laundering.)<\/li>\n<li>The original copy of the certificate stating that the issuance of a Commercial Card to the applicant&#8217;s address is possible,<\/li>\n<li>Providing one of the original documents of the Title Deeds, the original copy of the notarized Lease Contract, the original copy of the company&#8217;s Lease Contract,<\/li>\n<li>Original bank certificate confirming the Chequing Account of the natural or legal person,<\/li>\n<li>Valid production certificate from the relevant ministries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Who is not allowed to receive a Commercial Card?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>According to the regulations related to the issuance of Commercial Cards, three groups of persons are not allowed to receive commercial cards:<\/p>\n<p>1) Persons who have <strong>criminal convictions<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>2) Persons who are bankrupt due to <strong>fraud or fault<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>3) Persons who are known for <strong>moral corruption<\/strong> or <strong>commercial abuses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Different types of Commercial Cards in Iran<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> <strong>Commercial Trading Card:<\/strong> This type of commercial card, which is the most common type, is a license according to which a businessperson or a commercial company can be fully active in the export and import of goods (registration of orders, clearance of goods, import from free trade zones, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Service Commercial Card:<\/strong> This type of commercial card is rendered to persons who intend to invest and start a business with particular service fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) Specific Commercial Card:<\/strong> Sometimes, a natural or legal person may only intend to carry out one export or import operation, without making export and import as their usual constant job.
