Iran’s trade with China grows by 22.9%

Iran’s exports in the first half of 2022 amounted to 8.2 billion dollars, representing an increase of 22.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, in exchange for 4.08 billion dollars of Chinese goods exports to Iran.

Iran’s trade with its leading trading partner, China has registered an annual growth of 16%,  and reached $8.2 billion in the first half of 2022, registering a 22.9% year-on-year increase.

The latest data published by the General Administration of Customs of China shows that Iran’s exports amounted to 4.08 billion dollars, which has increased by 30.9% compared to the same period last year.

On the other hand, China exported 4.18 billion dollars of goods to Iran, which was a 16% growth compared to the previous year.

Bilateral trade reached $1.8 billion in June 2022, of which Iran’s exports were $888.68 million and imports were $906.85 million.
